About the HACCC
The HACCC staff cares for more than 12 percent of Maine's cancer population and sees more than 7,000 individuals with a cancer diagnosis annually, including more than 1,100 newly diagnosed cases.
We treat many types of cancer including:
- Genitourinary (including prostate, bladder, kidney, testicular and penile)
Our services extend beyond the care we provide. We bring hope and healing to patients and families and them make the best choices for their situations.

In 2010, the HACCC became one of the first 16 cancer practices in the United States - and the first in Maine - recognized by the American Society of Clinical Oncology's Quality Oncology Practice Initiative (QOPI®) certification program. The HACCC was recertified in 2013.
Our highly skilled, experienced staff and state-of-the-art facility and technology allow us to provide patients with the best care close to home. We also have an established clinical research program to give patients access to newly approved treatments.
The HACCC is accredited by the Commission on Cancer and American College of Radiology.
