MaineGeneral Medical Center offers expert non-oncology infusion services at the Thayer Center for Health in Waterville and oncology infusion services for patients with cancer at the Harold Alfond Center for Cancer Care in Augusta.
Our expert medical staff is available to help with your infusion needs, including IVs and blood transfusions, among other services.
In addition, evening and weekend medication services are available at the TCH Emergency Department (ED).
Our staff is highly experienced and multi-skilled and many members of our team have achieved national certifications.
- Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. — HACCC, Augusta (oncology infusions only)
- Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. — TCH, Waterville (non-oncology infusions)
- Evening and weekend services — TCH ED
Instructions for Care at the TCH
When you arrive at Thayer, park in the ED lot (the entrance is marked with a red sign on North Street).
Let the ED receptionist know that you are an Infusion Clinic patient.
Due to the nature and severity of some of patients in the ED, you may have to wait before you receive your medication. Please be patient and know that you will receive your medication as soon as possible.
