We have been providing home care services for more than 50 years; and hospice services for 30 years. MaineGeneral Hospice was the first Medicare-certified hospice in Maine, established in 1989.

Billing
We will bill Medicare, MaineCare and other commercial insurances directly for the home care and hospice services we provide you.
We provide care regardless of your ability to pay. If your doctor has ordered home care or hospice and you do not have insurance, we will work with you to arrange payments you can afford and, in some cases, will provide your care free of charge.
