Description

MaineGeneral Medical Center’s Medical Grand Rounds Continuing Medical Education (CME) Program is dedicated to providing physicians and other health care professionals with educational experiences that enhance their ability to provide excellent medical care and a greater understanding of the impacts of physical, psychosocial, and cultural factors on health and illness. This includes identifying updates in medical procedures, medical research and diagnosis and treatment of various diseases, as well as analyzing medical issues critical to Maine, MGMC and our patient population.

Although the target audience of Medical Grand Rounds is physicians, we welcome and encourage attendance of students, residents, nurses and other health care professionals from the MaineGeneral Health system to foster multidisciplinary collaboration and learning.
