Biography

In 2019, Dr. Conte became a certified Ayurvedic Yoga specialist through the Himalayan Institute in Lewiston, ME. She also completed 200 hours of yoga teacher training through Well Heart Yoga in Falmouth, ME in 2017 and a Laughter Yoga training program in Massachusetts in 2016.

I have had a really great experience with your office from the staff out front to Dr. Conte, and I particularly like her. I had a really good visit with her this last week where she had somebody with her. They did four hands on me. It was wonderful, and I'm very happy with this practice and with this service. Thank you.

Dr. Conte as always was very compassionate and enthusiastic in her approach to care. She is very thorough and skilled in her assessment and delivery of treatment interventions. She has helped me to establish a multidimensional approach to managing my chronic pain without the use and reliance of prescription pain medication. She is an excellent educator and I highly respect and regard her. She is an asset to Maine General.

I cannot recommend MDCCC enough to my family and friends. The physicians and residents are absolutely phenomenal! I continue to be amazed at how they are able to look at an issue I have had for years, and treat it so quickly and efficiently.they get to the root of the problem and treat that, which alleviates many other symptoms i didnt even know were related. They also always give stretches, breathing exercises, etc. To help with whatever your issue may be.

When checking out I noticed the staff member had an apple ear bud in. Perhaps watching her phone during quite times. However it doesn't appear as professional. It impacts a feeling of connection. She was very short. The MA was lovely and the check in staff equally welcoming.

Have seen Josephine in the past for OMT. Very caring, great "bedside" manner. Continues to work on gaining more education and being current in her field. A bit disappointed that MDFP Coll Care moved. The room at the Ballard has no windows which isn't a conducive atmosphere for the treatment.
