Kennebec Region Health Alliance
Kennebec Region Health Alliance (KRHA) was formed in 1997 as a physician hospital organization consisting of MaineGeneral Medical Center and members of its medical staff.
KRHA's mission is to promote healthy communities by providing access to quality health care in a cost-efficient manner.
Toward that end, the organization contracts with major health plans with an emphasis on developing programs designed to enhance clinical quality and outcomes.

Kennebec Valley Community Care Team
Today’s health care system can be confusing and hard to understand.
The Kennebec Valley Community Care Team (KVCCT) can help if you have:
- Many health problems
- Trouble managing all the things your provider says may help you feel better
- Family/social service-related needs
We promote self-care and wellness by partnering with patients and care providers to achieve their best outcomes and quality of life.
What We Do
KVCCT will work closely with your primary care provider and office staff.
We'll listen to your ideas, support your goals and make sure you get the best care possible.
Most important, we'll keep your interests and needs at the center of our work with you.
Our Services
Our staff will do a health assessment to help understand your needs before working with you and your family to develop ways to manage your condition and medications.
We provide education and guidance when you need it, help you set and reach your health goals and help connect you with the right services to try to improve your quality of life.
We also work with other agencies and health professionals to coordinate your care, provide support at appointments if you’d like and help sort through and understand health information.
Our Health Care Team
Our dedicated team of health care professionals all work together to coordinate and evaluate your care. Our team includes:
- Physicians (your primary care provider and specialists)
- Nurses
- Social workers
- A pharmacist
We work hard with one goal in mind — to help you have better health outcomes, lower medical costs and needed support to reach your health improvement goals.
Talk to your primary care provider to see if KVCCT is right for you. If so, your provider will make a referral and someone from our team will call you to set up a time to meet.
