Angela Ripley, CNM, C-EFM, is a certified nurse-midwife who sees patients at the Family Medicine Institute in Augusta, where she also serves as an obstetrics and midwifery faculty instructor for the Maine Dartmouth Family Medicine Residency (MDFMR) Program. A member of MaineGeneral Medical Center's (MGMC) Professional Services Staff since September 2013, she is certified in electronic fetal monitoring and inpatient obstetrics, specializing in waterbirth as an alternative birthing option. Her professional interests include aromatherapy as a complementary approach to the labor and delivery process, the Spinning Babies® approach to childbirth, and adolescent health. In addition to prenatal care, she provides women's health services throughout the lifespan, including contraceptive care and well-woman care. She attends deliveries at MGMC's Alfond Center for Health in Augusta.
