Michael Nolan, MD, is a fellowship-trained, board-certified ophthalmologist who specializes in pediatric and adult ophthalmology and adult strabismus (double vision and misaligned eyes) at MaineGeneral Eye Center, where he has practiced since August 2016 and also serves as medical director. His clinical interests include pediatric and adult strabismus surgery; pediatric cataract surgery for children 12 months and older; adult cataract surgery; pediatric nasolacrimal duct obstruction surgery; YAG capsulotomy; laser peripheral iridotomy; and intravitreal anti-VEGF injection for diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration and retinal vein occlusion.
