I was put on a schedule for Eligard, a hormone supressant which has a lot of potential serious side effects which I voiced to the doctor and nurses. Eligard seems to be the go to hormone treatment for advanced prostate cancer. I really felt that because it is a "go to" treatment not much concern was given to the side effects.

My appointment was for a new patient visit, meet and greet if you will. I enjoyed getting to know the provider better, who answered questions about my overall health, specifically urological, and then medical history. We scheduled a follow up appointment to monitor history of bilateral kidney stones.

Professional, polite and friendly staff from the receptionist to the nurse to the PA with whom I had the appointment.

As pleasant as any trip to a urologist could be lol. Dr. Smith did a great job listening and addressing my concerns. Only negative complaint I have is one that is totally out of everyone's control which is no male wants anything stuck up there so the whole up coming scope thing got a guy a little rattled. But, hey like I said beyond Dr. Smiths control kinda of a don't shoot the messenger type of mentality one might say. All and all A++++ to Dr. Smith and all staff at 442 civic center drive.

Good caring competent service

The only additional thing I would like to add is that it would have been nice to have my surgery date secured before leaving the appointment so that I could do my future planning for work schedules and coordinating rides.

The time I spent waiting for both of my appointments here was crazy. I had to take time off work due to limited appointment hours so the wait was not appreciated. My appointment was 9:15. I got in and gave a sample one time then sat in the waiting room. After going back for the appointment 15 minutes late the nurses told me they would go ahead and run the sample. My provider didn't enter the room until 9:50. Then the appointment took all of 5 minutes. My previous appointment I waited in the waiting room for an hour. I also was told I couldn't schedule anything for the next months ahead of time. My schedule makes this challenging since the available appointment times are all during my work hours. The short notice is frustrating. I'd like to be able to schedule for the next month to have time to get off work appropriately.

I was very pleased with the visit that I made. Everything was professional. Everything was totally defined by the standards of health care and urology. I felt comfortable every moment that I was there. Everything was good. Everything was professional. Everything, I can't think of one bad thing that happened that I would disagree with. I honestly believe that the office did a great job every time I called getting the appointment and Cheryl was fantastic, went above and beyond doing research, talking to insurance companies and keeping me informed on what the status was and what scans I needed to take. Front department is top of the line, they're very friendly, they make good appointments, and they know what they're supposed to do with you. When you leave your appointment, you feel very good about yourself, and they follow through with what they're going to do. Your department is very, very good.

This practice operates from chaos. Everything is rush, rush, rush. The nurse was 40 minutes late getting to see me. She introduced herself and told me we'd need to make this quick as she was already running late. They rush people from room to room. There is no empathy!!
