Jocelin Reatiraza, MD

Appointment was for annual physical so scheduling was a year in advance. Not an immediate need. Really like my new Doctor. Very thorough and listens.

Dr Reatiraza was attentive, engaging and competent. I am very pleased to meet her and be her patient. I arrived around staff's lunch hour at 1:18 pm. Only one person was on the desk and busy on the phone for awhile so I sat and waited for someone to approach me. I didn't realize i was supposed to go to the counter to be checked in. After sitting awhile, when 2 more staff persons came in and I was seated, they thought I had been checked in. I, then approached the desk at 1:38 pm and was checked in. The MD thought I was late. I was not. I did not know the procedure of checking in. None the less, the staff were friendly and courteous. I'll know better the next time.

Dr. Jocelin Reatiraza is wonderful , knowledgeable , smart , confident and overall a kind human being . She is a caring doctor who understands my needs . Thank you for having her at Oakland Family Health!

Dr. Reatiraza spent a lot of time with me and I was very comfortable with her and my medical care. I have been with this practice for over 30 years. I am very happy and appreciate all that is done for me.

Dr. Reatiraza was very nice. She was a bit hurried. I wanted a colonoscopy scheduled and I don't think that happened. But she was a very nice lady. The wait was extremely long, about two hours. And there was no one at the reception desk when we left at 4.58 p.m. So the whole experience was a little, it felt rushed and it felt, I didn't feel like, you know, it didn't build trust. I guess that's how I should put it. Wait times are horribly long. Even to get an appointment, we waited 10 months. And so waiting in the waiting room for as long as we did. When we had two appointments scheduled, it was my husband and I, and they ended up.

The staff out front had left already when my appointment was finished at 4:55 pm. I was unable to check out

My appointment was the first time that I met with Dr. Reatiraza. She seems excellent. I appreciated her coming in to see me. I think you have hired a good doctor.

My new PCP is EXCELLENT! She is thorough and patient. I feel extremely well cared for.

Dr Reatiraza is very thorough in making sure my over all health is taken care of. Where I seem to see a very rush intake from the medical assistants. This is the second time that the medical assistants from Maine General system seemed rushed to take the preliminary vitals. I still wouldn't change to go somewhere else, but changes could be made with the medical assistants.

Dr. Reatiraza is thorough and thoughtful; listens well and has a wonderful bedside manner.

I had labs done at outside facility and told MA about it before visit, would have been nice if she obtained them so my Dr would have had them to review. Process for getting stuff done outside of MG into our charts seems to be challenging, as my husband went thru this trying to get his ultrasound results. Other than that office is great and Dr Reatiraza is amazing!

I was very impressed with Dr. Jocelin. She was engaging, friendly and spent her time reviewing my history and getting to know my present conditions. It was an excellent appointment!

My experience with the doctor was great. My issues are all with the voicemail and call backs from the RNs. This issue is on going.

I really like my dr. She spent quality time with me. She is worth the wait. I would only say the wait time was over a half hour. It would be helpful if someone let me know while I waited in the reception room. Fortunately I didn't have to be back to work.

Didn't like the long wait

Dr. Reatiraza is outstanding; very happy to have her as GP. Front desk has been outstandingly efficient and kind since day one.

Dr Reatiraza is new to the practice and this was my first visit. Very cordial and thorough . Very helpful with my concerns with good feedback. Overall I was most appreciative. Staff was welcoming and efficient.

Dr. Reatiraza was very thorough during my recent visit. She spent time going over my medical history, making necessary referrals and answering all my questions. She exceeded expectations when she personally called me to follow up on the results of my EKG! I have complete confidence in her ability to provide for my medical care. Overall my experience at Oakland Family Practice was excellent. The staff were professional, helpful and friendly as was the staff at Thayer Hospital where I went for blood work, EKG and chest exray.

Great first visit as a new patient

I waited 45 minutes after being roomed for Dr. She was very nice , took her time to listen to me . However, to many patients booked at one time ,makes it a very difficult time waiting to see Dr. She was awesome liked her a lot .

I just wish I would not be told to go to Express Care when i need to see a doctor in my primary care office because they can't get me in there. Express Care is good but should not have to be used by those who have a doctor at a practice.

I always have a good experience at Oakland Family practice. The staff at the front desk, the nurses and my healthcare provider are very professional and helpful. My new provider has taken her time to know my history and to go over my history with me. She answered all my questions and concerns. I found her very helpful with making decisions. Very pleased with her. Wonderful personality easy to talk to. I am very comfortable and relaxed with her.

I felt at ease with my appointment and was very impressed by the professional manner in which I was treated. I felt that I was included in making decisions about my health and care plan, and that the doctor was well informed about my health history.

I'm a little bothered that I am on my fourth practitioner in as many years. I guess this can't be helped, still bothersome.
