Arrived at my expected time and had to wait almost 30 mins after my appointment time before I saw the doctor.

Dr. Degenhardt gave me positive and comprehensive information about my disabilities that I can actually follow to start ameliorating the effects from which I suffer. She is the first neurologist who did not listen to me for a half and hour and then throw a medication my way. I understood her explanations, her plans, and her follow up written take home information. She was firm but very compassionate. I understood that she is interested in actually healing me to the maximum possible and giving me the right tools to be active in controlling my destiny rather than depend solely on medicines. She also didn't overwhelm me or give me unrealistic goals. I understand that my goal is forever and that Dr. Degenhardt will be able to provide the right guidance to keep helping me to improve.

First time being seen by this particular doctor (previous neurologist left the practice) so wasn't sure exactly what to expect... Good first visit but we need more visits to really get to know one another and provide better responses to your question. Provider was obviously running behind schedule (based on how long I waited after initial intake work) and seemed to be trying to make up for lost time while we were together.

We were very impressed with Dr. Degenhardt's level of expertise, the care she took to show and explain to us the potential roots of my issues and her presentation of my care plan in a way that should prevent me from feeling overwhelmed. I feel fortunate to have such a professional, capable and warm physician caring for me.

I was very impressed with how Dr. Degenhardt took time to sit down and go over my brain scans that were sent to her and she was very, she expressed herself wonderfully and it made me understand what she was talking about. Thank you.

Dr. D listened to what I asked/had to say and answered my questions. She explained all that she was doing, in easy to understand terms, during the consultation and made recommendations as to the next steps in a treatment plan.

I don't like the patient authorization form. I asked the receptionist to print so I wasn't signing a blank box and she said we can do a verbal. I thought she meant she would read it out loud to me. Nope, "ok I checked the box for verbal authorization" I don't agree with the section on pg 2 if I'm unable to communicate they can give me a whole list of things.

These are difficult times for our family. Dr. Degenhardt has been supportive in some of the decisions we struggle to make and helpful in pointing us in the right direction by linking us with the geriatric center.

I understand that she is busy, however, rushing through the physical part of the exam was in my opinion a waste of time. I'm sure she does this exam many many times a day, but not on me. She just barely put hands on for the resistance and was moving on from my arms s and hands to my legs and feet. You cannot tell if someone is showing any kind of weakness with the time she spent on that part of the exam. Once I told her I had a cluster of migraines that was the focal point of the visit and what she talked about and made recommendations on, not about my concern with my vision getting much worse in a short period of time. I had to ask about seeing the results of my MRI, which was the reason for this visit, and was just shown where new lesions were and not what that could mean from a symptoms standpoint, or if it had anything to do with the migraines I mentioned or my vision issues. I'm didn't feel comfortable enough with her to ask any additional questions because it seemed she was in a rush and my 10-15 minutes were up sadly. This is not what real healthcare should feel like in my opinion. I am hopeful that she takes more time with the patients that have more substantial symptoms or issues going on.

For the first time since my TBI I have hope. Hopefully, it will be possible to chip away on my most debilitating symptoms. Thank you.

Dr Degenhardt is an exceptional dr. Of the Nero Drs I have seen over 30 years, her knowledge and follow up are far superior. I trust I am getting the best possible care and medical treatment.

The practitioner we saw brushed off one of our concerns and pushed it to the GP when we expressed that we had spoken to the GP and they did bloodwork and all was well with that and the GP told us to consult the neurologist we were told "I won't be addressing that call your GP".we wait months and months for an appointment and treatment was not great. We left with more meds and less answers

Dr. Degenhardt answered questions that my regular doctor didn't tell me about. She was very thorough and helped me a lot.

The receptionist desk was outstanding. And I really appreciate Dr. Degenhardt's thoroughness and her ability to help me figure out what steps need to be taken to solve my problems and help my symptoms.

Felt Dr wasn't listening. Had noted changes/concerns to them since changing my treatment plan. Dr wants to modify things that haven't changed.

The people at the desk & the med asst were great. The Dr gave me the impression that she was running behind & desperately trying to catch up. I felt rushed. If I didn't have an answer she wanted I felt like a child being scolded. She didn't tell me when she wanted me back, but put it in the paperwork for the checkout gal. I'm not convinced I want to go back even if it means delay of help which she didn't seem interested in discussing or working on. Very disappointed.

I loved the fact that she didn't keep me waiting very long I appreciate that and she is very knowledgeable and I am glad that I came to see her I would recommend her all day long
