I have had 3 urologist at Northern Lights Llc loose there right to practice in Maine over malpractice, I have finally found a competent urologist with Maine General urologist ?

The only issue is that the doctor's attempt to get the necessary scope right away by requesting that the scheduling clerk "squeeze me in" still resulted in an appointment 5 weeks out. If scopes are months out then some changes to the practice may be in order

Dr. Belanger has been informative when providing me care, care options, risks, outcome potential and strategies moving ahead.

Some of the support staff are less than enthusiastic about patient care. Not a welcoming atmosphere generally. Dr. Belanger is a very good and caring doctor.

The nurse who put my catheter in was very perfectly and careful made sure I was comfortable,and knew what to do she is the best I've had this done in 15 other states and by far and she's the best,very respectful,and kind..

Having to pre-pay or appointment would be cancelled is draconian just because insurance wouldn't cover. Original scheduled appointment after consultation took 4 months and then that was cancelled with no reason provided the week before and scheduled out another four months. Very inconvenient.

THE DOCTOR IS VERY NICE TO TALK TO

First time seeing Dr Belanger -- previous urologist left the practice. Liked the fact that he was focused on my problem and concerns but would have felt more confident if he had started out by introducing himself and telling me what he already knew about my urologic history. Most of that came out as we went along but jumping right into my "scope" exam with no previous discussion was a little disconcerting for a first-time encounter.
