Great helpful and personable nurse and Dr. 1st visit .no significant wait n satisfied with treatment plan . Only trouble was dr. Said make appt to come back in 2 mos. Secretary said no openings within 2 mos. And we will call u when appt. Available. She wasn't especially clear or friendly about it - only negative in experience.

The doctor was very knowledgeable and was kind and very good with answering questions. I was really impressed. Thank you.

Dr was very patient and made sure I understood his advice. He had some good ideas for future health care.

I could not understand the nurse assisting Dr. Pakraftar. Her accent was so much she was hard to understand and she couldn't pronounce any of my medications. Not sure if the list us correct or not.

The nurse was INCREDIBLE, the surgeon was very kind but I felt very rushed, and felt like I was just a quick discussion in his day. He was somewhat helpful however I just felt like I had to make a decision right that second because he was in a hurry to move on and I was extremely overwhelmed and scared. Wasn't my best experience but again, the nurse, she was absolutely amazing!!!! We need millions more just like her!!!!

My experience at MaineGeneral was better than expected. From the young lady that checked me in at the front desk to the medical assistant that brought me back into the room and took my vitals, and the young lady that checked me out after my appointment, all three of these people were professional, kind, and efficient. I'm a registered nurse and I know a good doctor when I meet one. Dr. Pakraftar is a good doctor. I have seen Dr. Pakraftar on multiple occasions, and each time he has been very easy to speak to, down to earth, informative, reassuring, and professional. I will be scheduling a surgery with Dr Pakraftar. I'm confident in his abilities and have no concerns being under his care.

I can not say enough good about how I was treated.

I am upset with the fact my insurance may not be accepted anymore. It is the only one I could afford.

It is worth noting the Medical Assistant was extremely polite, professional and provided a warm welcome. I was happy to meet Dr. Pakraftar.

Dr. Pakraftar and his team is the best i have ever experienced. Sam is my go to surgeon and will always be. I have been so blessed and thankful to have him in my life. I trust what he says and believe in his capabilities. I would travel anywhere to have him take care of me.

Dr. Pakraftar was wonderful! It was my first visit with him and he was able to guide me through what our next steps will look like and the reasoning behind his choices. I fully respect his rationale and that allows me to be fully comfortable having him as my surgeon going forward. He truly listened to my concerns and we were able to find solutions together. He did not minimize my feelings or "talk down" to me in any way (unlike another surgeon I have dealt with at MeGeneral) which relieves any stress I have about upcoming procedures. I am grateful.

The Surgeon was just tremendous and his assistant was very professional, I was there for a consultation/examination in regards to an umbilical hrrni
