Sarah Havener, FNP-C

Enjoyed her so much I'd love to have her be my primary physician, if she's accepting new clients. Always enjoyed having a female physician and was very sad when both my lady physicians had left but was happy for them.

I was very well taken care of and my experience was very helpful. I appreciated Sarah was there and took a great deal of time and patience with me and explained and answered any questions I had and set up a nice schedule for me to follow to get some of my testing done that I needed to get done. I was very, very satisfied with my appointment and it was very helpful to me and she was excellent.

The staff, from sign-in to checking out were genuinely friendly, with smiling faces. The staff is professional and responsive. Sarah and her medical assistant are a wonderful team. I feel comfortable and cared for at Augusta Family Medicine.

It concerns me that many of your staff leave. It means the staff that remain are over worked and it is hard to get appointments. We have to go out if town sometimes. Why can't you keep staff?

Everybody was very kind and helpful when I got there I registered in and she was very helpful very caring she said I needed to wait after I was checked in I only waited less than 5 minutes and I was led back to my room I was asked my name and my date of birth to verify it was me my blood pressure was taken but heartbeat and my temperature ask questions about what my health was and then I waited for Sarah. Sarah was very thorough asking what my condition was I explained what happened and she proceeded to ask how my shoulder felt and after the discussion she said that I was going to need physical therapy My first interaction with Sarah she is very professional and caring I felt very confident in her assessment. Went to check out she asked what the follow-up was and I told her it was for physical therapy and she said they would give me a call she was very helpful Now waiting for a call from physical therapy to set up an appointment

I haven't met a provider at AFM that I haven't liked. They are all kind, considerate and involve you in the decision making process.

Sarah Havener is an excellent provider. She is very thorough, takes time to listen to me. She is very knowledgeable about many different health issues. She is super supportive and encouraging about positive changes I am making. All staff from check in to MAs to check out are friendly and helpful.

I did not see my normal PCP but Sarah was very informative and told me what I needed to know. I appreciated the direct conversation and care she provided.

While few look forward to any medical appointments, which is expected, the staff are very friendly and make the experience a pleasant one to the extent as can be expected.

I think it could be very much more improved if the PCPs would listen to what the patients have to say and be understanding about it and not to be made like they're incompetent, they're dishonest. I would never recommend that doctor, that PCP for anybody, anybody. I understand I may have a complicated medical history with a very rare genetic disease and she brushes everything I say off. She makes me feel like I'm lying about my own health when I'm not.

I would like to see the regulation that says you cannot take my blood pressure off my own blood pressure cuff. It was automatic as opposed to the manual. And for all the time I've been coming there, Sarah was the first person to point it out where the larger cuffs were. No one had ever done that. They all just said there weren't larger cuffs. It was a pleasant first time experience meeting Sarah Havener. She went over my health and welfare history with me as well as any other concerns I may have had at that time. My appointment was enjoyable, very relaxed and not rushed. Going forward I feel comfortable is saying, if I have any issues/concerns with my health in the future, I will receive good "health care" from Sarah.

I appreciate Dr. Havener. She listens and answers questions thoroughly. I never feel rushed like at some other dr. visits. She gives me enough time to explain any questions I have. She is thorough and goes through a whole list of possible health issues. She isn't extreme in her opinions. I would love to recommend her to friends or family but understand due to staffing shortages she is not taking new patients for a year scheduling. Check out staff and check in staff were nice as was the nurse who took my vitals.

first time I saw Sarah and she inspired confidence in me. i have been extremely unhappy with this practice and my current PCP for a very long time because she does not follow through and placates me but Sarah was thorough, already did what she said she was going to do, gave me the time I needed and left me with a feeling of trust in her abilities.
