I think Maine general health has changed a lot over the years....they used to be considered what people call "a band aid hospital "if you will.. now they are a huge campus that offers multiple different services from emergency care, pcp,walk in clinic to specialist like neurological, women's health and a cancer center along with dialysis. This type of growth in humanity amazes me. Not only does it provide jobs for the community but also means our community is well provided for and cared for when they become sick.

Great place and care team.

The person who signed me in told me it would be an hour wait and seemed like she was persuading me to just leave rather than being seen and I also heard her tell at least 3 people who called it would be an hour wait when I was the only one In the waiting room. I chose to stay and I waited less than 5 minutes and I was there for less than 45 minutes total even with waiting for some test results. I really think that it was wrong of her to be trying to convince people to not be seen. Also when I left, at 6:45pm, there was absolutely zero lights on the exterior of the building which was very difficult to see getting to my car.

Adam the PA was kind and knowledgeable. He was spot on when it came to diagnosing me with pneumonia. He was right that I would feel better just after a day on antibiotics. Thank you for the great care. Express Care.

The wait time in a room to see a provider was long.

We have been very impressed with the care we received at Express Care. Wish we had gone there at the very beginning and hopefully avoided the ER. The provider was very good at explaining things and recommending how to do home care. Excellent service.

The doctor was very thorough and considerate. The nurse and doctor both had amazing bed side manners. Felt that my son was in good hands.

Thank you for the great service but I still miss the Winthrop express care, blood drawing, etc.

Adam, I think his name was 100% kind, compassionate, caring, very gentle. He knew that I was kind of hurting, some breaks in my arm. Very gentle, very kind.

I had a really great experience there. I went with a migraine. They took me into a dark room really quickly. And then when I moved to the provider room, it was also, the lights were turned down. It was wonderful that everyone listened to me. I was seen really quickly, taken care of really quickly. The only thing I'd say is that the prescription for Zofran was recalled into my pharmacy. So other than that, everything was amazing. Bye.

I hope Adam stays with Maine General for a while :-)

Very quick and efficient

As always , MGMC is top notch! I was still at check in window and was called in before I got to sign permission to treat, which I speedily signed and followed MA, she was thorough in reviewing my records. My provider Adam Soucy was awesome, I was comfortable with him, he put me at ease. He's super knowledgeable. Had an xray which matched the possible diagnosis. Adam called me with xray results as soon as they were available. If I had further issues was told what to do. I had gone to Augusta Express Care. The speed of getting .. didn't even get to the waiting area! Great care that's really close to home. One word from check in through to xray department which was my final stop... the entire team is truly phenomenal!

Dr Adam soucy is amazing: he even talked to me and called me back and when missed his call they checked to see if he was busy and he made time for me: wish he was a primary dr- he's great and staff has been nice also

Adam did a great job diagnosing my back strain and just giving me a lot of great advice, and I was treated timely. Also the nurse was excellent as well. So I was very happy with the care that Adam provided, and the nurse for that matter. So thank you.

I registered and logged in for my online apt 15min prior. The apt was tor 9.30am the link time stated 12.30pm I asked at time of registration the time was correct. Was told Yes, 9.30, he knows it's 9.30. I asked if provider was on time, or how late he was running. I was told provider was on time, he'd be there for 9.30. 25min later, still logged in and no provider. I called back and registration woman was snippy with me saying I hadn't waited long enough. Provider didn't show for scheduled apt. 2nd time in a year this has happened. Woman on phone wanted to put Me on hold to track down provider's MA. I said I wasn't waiting any longer for a provider more than 10min late for a 15min apt. I asked if provider would just please refill meds and listed meds needed. Woman on phone called me rude.

So grateful for Express Care at a MGMC clinic. My records are with MGMC, making it a better option than a Convenient Care clinic and one less patient for the ED.

Both the nurse and the PA were really great.

This was the best experience I have had in a VERY LONG TIME and this is compared to the type of service I have had received recently by my own PCP at Augusta Family Medicine over the past 4 months (wish they would ask for feedback). Check-in was quick and pleasant. Adam Soucy and the nurse were both very pleasant and companionate, they each were informative and showed empathy. I was not rushed and felt heard and well cared for. They both had a superior bedside manor that should be praised and that represented Maine General in a very positive way. Way to go!

Each individual performed their role in timely manner -and professionally! I knew exactly what was going to happen next. Got a call the next day scheduling an appointment as I was told I would!

Everyone was very efficient, but explaining about the probiotics and the timing of when to take them has made a huge difference in helping with the medicine that usually bothers my stomach, but this time it didn't, so I really appreciated that. It was my first time using the Express Care and it was very easy. Wait times were brief and the staff were very helpful. The whole facility is very pleasant, professional and state of the art. And only 4 miles away from us. It's great having you so close.

I was very happy with the service that was rendered. It requires no appointment and your needs in that moment can be addressed quickly and efficiently. The most important aspect of this is that it can be done when it is most convenient for me.
