My experience was good as it always is when I have to visit you folks. I think for the most part everyone on my care team seemed to be efficient in their jobs and trying to do their best.

First visit so Grandy did an hours worth of work to erase of old information that didn't need to be their. He was nice to me and explained things thoroughly said I have a lot going on right now. Over the visit look forward to more visits to get better soon.

It's a doctor's office in Maine. Nothing great.

My regular PCP was not available for awhile so they did find an appointment soon with another PCP.

The PA was very good but your awful reputation and my experience from the past impedes my ability to trust. That's something you'll have to earn.

It was the first time seeing my new provider and he did not rush me, he was very thorough and seemed like he really cared about my issue

Everything and everyone were great.

I called my primary care provider and I got scheduled to see a physician's assistant that same morning. Great! I was diagnosed with bronchitis and got a prescription for amoxicillin. I couldn't ask for anything better!

The staff is always polite, courteous, and efficient. Dr. Grandy and his staff have always answered my questions and helped me understand any situations that I have questions about.

Dr Grandy has saved my life several times and I trust him with my life!

Very well organized. Ask the right questions

It seems when I need to get in for a medical need, nothing is available for an appointment for weeks or months and I'm told to go to Express Care or E R. Maybe that office needs to hire another doctor or two.

I was a little nervous about having a new doctor but Doctor Grandy made me feel very comfortable and it was a great experience. All the staff at Thayer Internal Medicine are very nice and caring. I appreciate them all!

I would prefer to see a different provider going forward

I was really ill and I called for appt. They said they would have a triage nurse call me within an hour. A nurse called and I got worked their schedule for 11:30 same day. It's comforting to know the care team makes exception for scheduling when someone is really ill since I really don't like going to express care

Put some effort into keep care givers. Internal medicine has become a revolving door. This is my 6th practitioner in the last 5-6 years. No semblance of normalcy.

This was my first time seeing John Grandy. It has been a few days since my visit and I am still pleasantly surprised at how thorough he was. He listened, he reviewed, he made a plan and he explained that plan. My appointment was late in the day, and they were running a little behind and I thought for those reasons I may be rushed. Thank you for not rushing at all and doing such a complete exam.

The Physician explained everything and as he proceeded with the procedure he explained it before proceeding, this made me feel comfortable, calm and that gave me the trust In not only the procedure but the physician and his assistant. Thank you Maine General Health Care for always going above and beyond with your practice. I highly recommend you to my family and friends.

I was very happy with John But very very disappointed with the Emergency Department for not telling me that I had a sinus infection but yet when John read the paperwork, he saw it plain as day So I went 2 weeks with it not happy about it and may not pay that bill why should I when they did not and it was a serious matter

John Grandy is a great doctor. He is always on his game an treats me in a friendly an professional manner. He cares very much about my health an treats me very good every time I meet with him. Maine General should be very happy to have John as one of your providers. He is great!.

I just want to make sure that they sent my prescription in for metformin to Walgreens in Winslow and there's one other prescription that needed to be refilled so you can always check on that thank you

I found my new provider to be well versed and personable. Addressed all my issues and we have a good plan. John was thorough and efficient which I prefer.

John Grandy stepped in when all other previous practitioners left. I'd been through 3-4. He was factual, and personable. He didn't stare at the computer the whole time! He actually looked at me, and conversed with me. It was like talking to another actual person, instead of someone just doing their job. He was professional and courteous the whole time.

Everybody was very nice. I did not feel that John Grandy had quite as much expertise as I have come to expect for my primary care provider. He did not order some blood tests that I thought he should have ordered and he did not instill that much confidence in me. So, that's all I want to say.

Mr. Grady is an excellent provider. I'm a registered nurse and I've been working for Maine General for 34 years, 35 years, and one of the excellent providers I've had is him. Thank you very much.

I thought John Grandy did an excellent job with my history. He listened and he had suggestions and was very helpful with my meds. I was very pleased with him, and he didn't seem rushed. It was a good experience. However, I would like to see some physicians to also assist John. Thank you. Bye-bye.

From registration to check out, I was very happy. The staff that check you in and out are always so pleasant and friendly. Dr Grandy and his nurse were so awesome. Very thorough, friendly, and caring. This wad my first time with this Dr and nurse, and you would of thought I I'd none them for years. Very impressed with everyone at this practice.

I came in with knee and thigh pain and the PA didn't even look at my leg at all. Ordered x-rays, which I completed the same day. The next day I get a call from a chiropractor's office wanting to schedule an appt. due to a referral received by my Doctor. Didn't even get the results of the x-ray and didn't have a conversation regarding what is wrong.

This visit was with a PA that was not my PA., so this is why my history was not particularly familiar to him.

The only reason I would not recommend this practice is because of the constant turnover in providers.

Both the nurse and doctor were very personable and I was thankful with their concern for my health.

Dr. Grandy was very knowledgeable about my health history, current medical conditions and medications. I felt as though my concerns were taken seriously and taken care of.

John Grandy is very knowledgeable and caring. He listens to you and then decides what to do. Very friendly. I am lucky to have him. I hope he stays. Doctors come and go too much. Hard to have a good relationship with your doctor. Hospital needs to do what it takes to keep good doctors around.

I am thoroughly satisfied with John and his staff. I would highly recommend him to anyone. He's very thorough, he listened to me, and he didn't treat me like an idiot.

The people there are pleasant but I didn't feel like my medical concerns were addressed. I was concerned about my digestive issues, burning in my chest, and high blood pressure. I left feeling like my visit was a check in the box. No resolution. I'm not a doctor so maybe that's the way it is.

Although I had a new physician on this last visit, I've been with that provider's office for 30 plus years and I have the highest praise for everyone who works there and everything they do and I wouldn't think of going anywhere else. Thank you.

I had my first visit with John Grandy PA this week and I am well pleased.

My visit was a yearly appointment. All the staff from front desk to the nurse and NP was very pleasant and professional. I left feeling well informed and very pleased with the staff. Thank them all for doing a great job please.

I came here an addict with depression, anxiety and not in bad way emotionally. I had stopped trying to get a practice that could give me care for a range of issues and more importantly to me, provided that and coordination and support all at one facility. I am getting a little better and am confident that the staff will provide me a fighting opportunity for growth. I feel good here and have wholeheartedly got my sister and others to consider your facility 100%. My sister does dialysis at home for the past 10 years, has a bunch of other medical issues that need to be addressed aggressively to work effectively with the dialysis. She made one call and was called back by the end of the day and immediately got moved up to receive the care she needed. She absolutely loves it and I seea sparkle in her eyes. She a handle on all of her issues, professionally coordinated by an amazing staff, talented, caring, kind and you can tell they love what they. God bless you, sincere thanks.

My first meeting with John Grandy. He was knowledgeable and we had a good discussion about my health care.

In the summary, there were some statements that weren't true/weren't discussed.

Very friendly staff. It was my first time meeting John. He was very friendly and easy to talk with.

I would prefer a female provider. I'm not sure this provider is a good fit for me.

The MA I had was very chatty and it took awhile for them to room me. I appreciated their kindness but i was anxious to see the provider.

John Grandy appears to be a fine PCP.

First time that I've met John. He was very thorough and answered all my questions and I just hope he stays around. Since my PCP of many years left this is the 4th or 5th person I have seen and I really feel uncomfortable with this non continuity of care. So I am hoping for him to stay and for him to get to know me and me to get to know him better. Thank you.

Excellent critical care

John Grandy, PA was excellent. He obviously had reviewed my record and also the xrays done previously. Referral to Ortho made and already scheduled as well as treatment for the inflammation to my knee. Very impressed!

In my Follow Your Health listing it showed different procedures that needed to be done, but I believe some were not addressed. Also I had to call back to remind them that I was due for a mammogram as I received a letter earlier this year. Seems to be a lack of communication between departments.

it's not worth it!

This visit was touted as complete physical. No exam of prostate performed, no exam for testicle rupture. Checked lungs, BP and sounds through corotid arteries only. I complained about this before. I'm not happy

My new doctor I'm not to happy with ! I felt like I was talking to a salesman! He never looked me in the eyes not one time

No consistent provider as my pcp . Keeps changing.

I really like the personnel at the clinic and stuff and I know I'm new there and the provider is new and so I'm hoping that after my next appointment I will have a better understanding of what my treatment plan is. I like John Grandy and everyone in the office. I'm just a little confused and perplexed. Thank you.

Excellent experience

Was very patient with me and seem to know what he was talking about. He was very pleasant and I am glad he was able to see me on shot notice.

I was given a referral to a GI doctor which is what I needed.

Dr Grandy at least took time to look up and review my medical records. He even looked up something that I didn't know.

I'll tell you, he was a very, very wonderful doctor, very thorough, very kind, and very, very understanding. And as far as I'm concerned, he's the best around. Thank you very much. Bye. 1 1

It took several months to get an appointment as a new patient. I understand why this is, but it made it harder to transition from my previous medical provider than I would have liked. I am pleased with John Grandy's attention to my needs and I have already been able to access some over the counter meds that have helped me improve my sleep.

All were professional and took personal interest. Dr, John Grandy is very respectful and personable, When I have an appointment with him I am confident that he will take the time to address my issues and help me feel relaxed and taken care of to the best of his ability,

I would just like to say that John was absolutely amazing, compassionate, empathetic, and really listened to us. We have felt like we were not listened to before by other doctors in this facility, and I just wanted to say that you guys are truly blessed to have him. Not because he gave us what we wanted, because it wasn't that, it was the fact that he actually listened and had eye coordination and all along with what we were saying and conversed with us like we were just as important as anybody else. So you guys are very lucky to have him and I would prefer to see him every time.
