I thought everybody was very professional. They gave me answers when I asked and I just thought everybody was very, very friendly and good to deal with.

Dr. Patrick is excellent as far as I'm concerned, and I think everyone there is very nice.

The whole visit from first checking in up to meeting with doctor , checking out, was Great. Everyone smiled and was friendly. The doctor was extremely easy to answer questions and very "down to earth". Didn't rush.

I went to 3 other eye doctors, who could not diagnose my issue. I was thrilled that he had the knowledge and equipment to determine what was wrong, and how to fix it. I walked in to this facility absolutely miserable, and left "cured". Fabulous doctor and wonderful staff!

Dr Rapuano's very methodical style of communication gave me confidence that my eyes are to receive the best of care. The ophthalmic tech inspired confidence as she performed testing. A special thanks to front desk - explicit instructions.

First visit to discuss cataracts and it was a great experience. I was put at ease from the time I spoke with the PSR until speaking with the checkout nurse and getting all appointments set up. The doctor and his assistant who did all the tests were both excellent. I have no qualms about the surgery.

I have an extensive Patient Portal MEGEN with various and sundry hx of aches and pains but I don't yet see any entry from MG Eye Center...this was a referral to the eye surgeon by my ophthalmologist so I don't know if that counts to the portal... Many Thanks,

It was useful as I'm beginning to understand the situation with my eyes.

Dr. Rapuano explained everything he was going to do thoroughly. His treatment (cornea scraping) was steady and thorough, and he made a scary treatment extremely tolerable. He has a very calming demeanor about him.

This was my first visit with this doctor at this practice. He was very pleasant, introduced himself right off. During each step of my care he explained everything clearly with the findings and plan of care. Very focus on me during the whole visit to make me feel comfortable and made sure I understood everything. The tech that work with him I give her high marks also.

The Doctor is as nice and sweet as the reviews state. I thought he was amazing & his partner who does the initial exam, is also very thorough and very knowledgeable about everything. I am putting all my faith into this team.

Well, I got told by the doctor that I was placed with by your facility that he doesn't specialize in my conditions. So I was placed with an incompetent doctor when there was a doctor who could've seen me. Want to know the reason they gave me for being placed with an incompetent doctor? Because the other one was booking out for over a year. So I wasted my time, gas, mileage and money to be told that I couldn't get any help at this appointment. I'm furious with Maine General and will not be returning to any of your facilities. I have called patient advocates and still haven't gotten a call back. HORRIBLE patient care!! Maine General truly is the worst place you can go to for your care!!

My whole experience was not what I expected. Dr Rapuano amazed me with the knowledge of optic neuritis, but in MS patients. He made me feel very relaxed with his confidence as an eye surgeon. Dr Rapuano explained what was going on with my eyes and the problems that needed to be corrected. I liked the way he explained to me about my eye being 3 layers, hardwood floor, on top rug cushion and rug on top, and how the cushion was bunching up and causing the problem. I liked how he took his time, and I didn't feel rushed at all. I wished all doctors were like Dr. Rapuano. Dr. Rapuano assistant was very thorough and explained everything that the machines were doing. Explaining everything that was about to happen and repeated a minute before it was going to happen. What a great team!
