Andrew Dionne, MD, is a family medicine-trained physician who began a long career in primary care and hospital medicine at MaineGeneral in 2002 after graduating from the Maine-Dartmouth Family Medicine Residency (MDFMR) program. Beginning in 2008, he served in various leadership roles that included Hospital Medicine director, assistant chief medical officer for MaineGeneral Medical Center (MGMC), chief medical officer for MGMC, and senior medical director for MaineGeneral Practices. He currently works as director of clinical medicine and associate family medicine program director at MDFMR, where he enjoys teaching and working with residents and medical students.
