Arun Ranganath, MD, is a fellowship-trained pulmonary and critical care specialist who treats patients at the Alfond Center for Health in Augusta as a member of the MaineGeneral Pulmonary medical staff. Dr. Ranganath's office is extremely professional. This is probably my sixth visit there. They're extremely thorough. He's a wonderful physician and his staff is prompt and efficient. If they say an appointment is at 3.30, your name is called at 3.30. And if there's a delay in the morning because he's caught up in surgery or something, they call you that morning and tell you he's going to be late and what the new estimated time would be. This is probably one of the more professional physicians you have at your hospital and within the Maine Health System. Thank you very much.

Dr. Ranganath was great. He made me feel very comfortable and relaxed with the procedure. He has a great personality and talking with him was like talking to a friend. I would highly recommend him to anyone in need.

Excellent service so far and I mean excellent service for all. Anyway, and especially Dr. Ranganath, you know, he does an excellent job taking care of his patients. Letter with my appt time said 945 appt, come 15 min early. Text reminder told me 9 AM appt. I arrived therefore at 845 to discover my appt was really 10 AM. Need to do better there

This has to be the best-run doctor's office I have ever visited and believe me, I have been to a lot of doctors in my lifetime. Whenever I have called with a question, I get a call back within minutes. The people in the office are all so friendly and professional. Dr. Ranganath actually talks to me, not at me. He takes the time to explain everything so that it is easy for me to understand. I feel very fortunate to have him as my doctor.
