My initial experience with quick care was great. I still have not heard from anyone on a follow up plan for my broken ankle. It has been 5 days.

I just wanted to note, all the care staff is always great. I like Augusta Family Medicine and Express Care. It's probably one of the best practices I've ever been a patient in, and I really appreciate it.

The visit went quickly and smoothly. I was expecting to wait at least a half an hour, but was called in within 10 minutes. The nurse was pleasant and the PAC was professional and courteous, telling me my options, and then getting a wrist brace for me quickly. Great experience.

It was very quick! I thought it was going to be a lot like the ER and have to wait all night. But it wasn't! I was in and out in one hour! It's way better than my PCP! I've already recommended a friend! I can't thank you all enough! Your staff was amazing!

I Appreciated that the facility was open later at night when I had my situation. I appreciate that you are open on weekends in case we need you. I was asked to follow up if I had continued or worsening problems, I did I went to your facility at 6 o'clock and found out you were closed at five. I don't believe the website give that information. Thank you so much for everything you are wonderful

This experience was better than my last one, but if I had met with this same provider last time I wouldn't need to come back. I came in about a month or two for back pain and the PA I saw didn't listen and was just trying to rush me out as quickly as possible. She prescribed steroids and muscle relaxers and told me to come back if it didn't t better, and they would give me more steroids and possibly refer to PT. So I come back, and the PA I saw this time at least actually did an assessment and appeared to be listening. She told me, however, that express care doesn't do PT referrals, and that they wouldn't prescribe steroids for muscular injuries. So basically there was no point in coming back at all, and the original provider wasted my time because she couldn't be bothered to think critically because she was trying to cycle me out as soon as possible. I felt like I was being rushed out the door this second time too, but at least there was an assessment and device that made sense. Also, it's frustrating speaking to someone who is wearing a mask. Really removes any possibility of a human connection with the provider.

The PA and the Intern were very nice and listened to what I said. Theyanswered my questions and prescribed meds for me. Whenever I have to go to Express Care, they all treat me so well.

It is a real shame that Maine General is closing this service in June. It will be greatly missed by Winthrop/wayne are residents!

A $30 co pay for a 2 min visit that could have been prevented with a simple prescription sent to my pharmacy. Not everybody has $30 for the dr to come in and write a script for a basic common prescription. It was a waste of everyone's time and money.

The care I received was awesome. They listened to what I was saying and didn't make me feel rushed. I left feeling that I was given the best care. They explained everything and made sure I didn't have any questions. I was told I would receive a call later with my x-ray results and they called me back the same day. I would definitely recommend the urgent care in Winthrop to my family and friends.

Great experience & very fast! The only issue was they didn't put my medication in to the pharmacy. I had to call back multiple times to get them to send the prescription for strep. Other than that great experience with everyone.

It was a wonderful, fast experience, plus they updated my health records so my PCP knows what's going on. I feel so fortunate to have this service available right in town where I live. Takes some of the stress away when I am sick. Thank you!

The staff in ever part of the building was absolutely amazing and very caring and helpful the woman who checked me in at the desk was very respectful and very welcome as were the other nurses I saw and the doctor I appreciate this place a lot! I'm not sure what they could improve on because everything was perfect!

This was my 2nd time in 10 days to be seen for same issue. Per the MA I was told.i was given the exact antibiotics by 1st provider I told I don't want because they don't work well on me, and didn't want to come back. Discussed stronger antibiotics with 2nd provider for sinus/ ear infection and told her I had an upcoming procedure needed to be done within certain timeframe that would be postponed if issue unresolved. She didn't give either Rx we discussed. When questioned she repeatdly referred to PCP office. Contacted PCP office next day, unable to be seen and was told to wait. Procedure with specialist postponed

When arriving at express care I had a sore throat and runny nose, and also wanted to talk about my digestive system. I was a little light headed, but I don't get sick often so I tend to overthink my symptoms. My experience with the nurse was very welcoming and I felt like he listened to me very well. The doctor on the other hand, not so much. She gave me a rapid strep test, but did not test me for other common illnesses like the flu or COVID. I am upset that those weren't tested, as I had symptoms of both. Anyways, the doctor went straight to telling me she thought I had a blood clot. "Your heart is beating fast, can you feel that in your chest?" No maam, I can't. I don't go to the doctors EVER so I'm nervous. As someone who suffers horrendously with the anxiety and fear of death/illness, this was not easy for me to hear. I did not get a reason why I might have a blood clot, and she didnt ask me more questions other than I have a sore throat, runny nose, and I get a little winded/lightheaded. The doctor sent me to the ER lab for bloodwork (more anxiety for myself) without telling me really what we were looking for. I asked why, she said it was precautionary. Not precautionary for what, other than a blood clot. I am very disappointed in my service at Maine general, and it makes me not want to return if I have another problem. After getting bloodwork, it returned elevated - in which she ordered ct scans at the ER. More anxiety along with not explaining to me what was wrong or what I may be facing. Just that she really recommended that I go. Again, huge huge fear of mine, created panic attacks. Er sent me home without ct scans. I had to go to therapy this week to help myself stop worrying about my heartbeat. Like come on. The longer strep test came back positive, so I just had strep. No blood clot, no sepsis. Again, I am disappointed with my treatment at Maine general express care, and hope that this can be taken care of in the future. Thank you

All staff were polite, reassuring and inspired confidence. I was seen promptly and received excellent care. I was asked appropriate questions and given appropriate choices for my care. All staff were welcoming, polite, and skilled.

You could improve by having more people working. It took us three to four hours to get through the whole process, and we were just waiting and waiting and waiting. Thank you.
