Although I do not have faith in Maine General, I do have faith in Doctor Joseph Lopes. He has been with me since the bladder cancer was found and been so great that I had my husband change to him after problems getting in touch with his doctor for his bladder cancer needs. Doctor Lopes took him on and has been with us right to date.

I asked for a referral to a foot doctor, because my toes are curling under, I DID NOT GET THE REFERRAL. The doctor conspired with my wife to put me on a Statin without my knowledge. My wife pick up the pills, when I saw the pills I immediately through them in the trash. What a waist. I will not take that poison. If had been part of the discussion I would of said "I do want them".

It was a very pleasant experience in a bit of a scary situation. Dr. Lopes, I liked him very much, put me at ease, just very pleased with the whole experience. And I do not feel anything could be done better than the way they're doing it right now.

The proceedure didn't happen apparently because of a miscommunication between Dr. Lopes and his associate. I left work and drove all the way up to Oakland from Bath for nothing.
