I was very pleased with the doctor and I was very pleased with how many different options they offered and I was very very happy with her demeanor and her attitude was very nice and very pleasant. I'm very very impressed.

Very efficient and very respectful and my knowledge of my, while I was there, was quite well. I would definitely tell anyone to go to that particular group of orthopedic surgeons.

The doctor and staff were very friendly and I was impressed at how efficiently everything ran!

Meg was very good at explaining options..... My only concern is that we left with the feeling that insurance would pay for some form of the treatment agreed on - only to find out neither insurance would pay for it......and not knowing what our next step was. And also the MA didn't feel she could enter some of the meds being taken because they were herbals which seemed weird..... It was a good appointment until the next day when we felt back to square one.

It is great to have the walk in clinic, and Meagan was great, she explained everything, talked about the x rays an course of action to take. Very satisfied, it's excellent to have a orthopedic clinic especially with injuries that can be taken care of in house instead of having to go see a bunch of doctors at different times.

Follow up appointment is scheduled with physical therapist as promised.

I was in heavy pain for 10 weeks before I was able to see an orthopedic specialist for help.

My prescription did not get sent to my pharmacy! Not sure who's fault it was?!

It was excellent. I mean, to go for a stress test, and I was having so much trouble with my heart even prior to getting in there, and things, you know, things were not going right, that you know, it was a stressful situation for me to walk into. And they, right from the go, were really dealing with everything, being nice. Sometimes I had to go back under the machine again. They were very good about that, very professional. When I was doing the, when I was on the walking thing, they were very good, understanding what I could do, what I couldn't do. I couldn't, it's been my best probably experience with the hospital system here. It really is. They did a great job. I really thank them for all they did.

It was frustrating to get scheduled as I had three different calls trying to change my location and time of my appointment . But once I was seen , meagan was amazing! Highly recommend

Meagan was very professional and empathetic about my back pain situation. The care team went above and beyond to get me scheduled for follow up appointments. Even when I called in later in the day with follow up information, the gentleman on the phone seemed to know about my situation which was a nice surprise. Very happy with the care here.

Short wait, professional, friendly. Calling experience not good, to difficult to get through to department. Repeatedly had to hang up from long wait and call back.

It is very difficult to call ANY Maine General facility. The phone goes instantly to terrible music, adds about particular staff, and a variety of procedures offered. It may be over15 minutes before the phone is actually answered by a live person. This is NOT the way for a new potential patient to be introduced to your practice.

Pleasantly surprised that even though it was a big facility, everything was clean, organized and staff was friendly and knowledgeable.

Meagan Grant, NP was caring, supportive and informative. We set a treatment plan that was reasonable. Took longer than I would have liked to get an appointment but I also know that ortho is quite busy.

The Main issue l had was that my appointment was changed to a week out without being advised about it. If l hadn't called l would have gone up to the appointment without even receiving a letter telling me of the time change.

Medical staff were very caring and very respectful .

I found it incredibly convenient to walk into a clinic and meet with an ortho expert. She was able to order some x rays, read them, and help formulate a plan of action. Probably saved me at least a month of waiting. Support staff was also excellent. Overall a great experience.

Very professional and prompt

Meagan was the best part of my experience. She went over my x-rays with me. She went over the arthritic condition I have and she was very clear on the path that we should take and I loved her recommendations. Thank you.

The people were attentive

It has been the most wonderful experience in the last three years that I've been going through my health issues. I want to thank that whole hospital. They are amazing and I trust them and I believe in them. Thank you.

Meagan grant was great very informative and professional. Very easy to talk to.

I think there is much improvement we need from making appointments and reaching and not waiting lots of time to reach a live person when we're making calls. And I know it's difficult because we need more help in the front line, but that's what we need and I hope we can improve that. Thank you.

Everybody seemed very professional and very expedient. My wait was not very long at all. I got right in. They looked at me, asked the pertinent questions, or what I believe were pertinent questions, and I got answers to the reason for my visit on that day. And everything went well and was explained to me, and I was given some exercises to help with the purpose for the visit. Thank you.

Yes, Megan was just so knowledgeable and helpful. Yes, I was pleased with the care I received there. In fact, I'm starting to feel better already in a really short period of time. Great experience but took a long tome to get scheduled and booking was 4+ months out. Now that I am established again (it had been 5 years) things should be faster if I need to be seen.

It took 5 months to get an appointment is my only complaint.

It's a mistake to discontinue the Acute Care drop in clinic in Oakland

Very friendly, caring and efficient staff; a good experience from registration to X-ray to the medical assistant to seeing Meagan Grant. She explained my X-ray results and was optimistic and reassuring.

I saw Meagan Grant. She treated me with such respect. I was very happy to be seen by her. She actually cared about me and my health concerns.

Meagan administered my 2nd knee shot painlessly. Very pleased to have been a patient of hers that day

I was told i had a no call no show for a prior appt. This is not true, i explained to my doctor that prior appts had been cancelled twice and it took a full year to be seen for my knee. Additionally the appt confirmation I received in the mail was not the same date and time as the voice message I received. I had to call and verify what date and time was my appt actually was. Dr. Grant is wonderful, but the process of scheduling is not.

The only thing I didn't like was that it took 4 months to get an appointment. I've been in pain for months and should have been treated much sooner.

I have never really had a bad experience at the hospital. I appreciate everyone that has helped me at the facility.

Meagan Grant was exceptional in my opinion. I have been very nervous about what course of action I should take regarding my hip. Meagan helped me clarify my thinking and answered all my questions putting me in a better place on how I should proceed. I much appreciate Meagan's professional care and advice.

Very good care and professionalism for my appointment at Maine General Orthopedics in Oakland. Meagan Grant was excellent explaining the course of action to take and answering my questions regarding my orthopedic issue.

Dr. Grant was very helpful & didn't try to push surgery like some Dr.'s would do. She took a lot of time with me & answered all our questions. She gained our trust. My husband was present & he felt the same.

I appreciated the fact that my feelings about my condition were put first when discussing a plan of care. I liked that Meagan called me personally the next day with the results of my knee X-rays and how she thought a more specific plan of care may be better.

I'm awaiting a proposed schedule for gel injections to my right knee.

Dr. Grant is very knowledgeable and includes you on discussion before finalizing plan of care. Dr. Grant is professional but she also is very gracious and supportive in her conversations with her patients.

The dr was so informative and caring to put me at ease. The injections were pain free, and her confidence also was reassuring.

Maybe the best experience ever in a doctors office . Was called in five minutes before my appointment time. The nurse was able to take all the information she needed from me within five minutes. When she said the PA would be in shortly , she knocked on the door and came in within a couple minutes of when the nurse less. She gave me a detailed look at my cat scans and answered all of my questions that were very clearly understood by me . She offered and I quickly accepted what the next steps in the treatment would be.

Yes, they were definitely, they were great. They took their time with me, they were patient with me. They all did a wonderful job. And yes, I would recommend someone to go to their facility. That's for sure. Thank you.

Everyone was very friendly and extremely nice.

After 2 previous visits with other orthopedists, who pretty much shrugged their shoulders and dismissed me, Meagan was the first person who listened to me, appeared to believe me, and had a plan to help me with my pain. I went from feeling without hope to feeling like we might be able to alleviate this restrictive pain. Kudos to Meagan. Intelligent with a positive attitude.

The MA was excellent. She was thorough in getting the needed information and explaining what I needed to know I have a very painful knee injury and my x ray technician was kind and compassionate and got the pictures she needed with a minimum of pain. My provider Meagan was thorough, as gentle as she could be under the circumstances. She explained my options and what we were doing going forward.

I appreciated it when they had a cancelation, they called to ask if I could come earlier in the day, I did and it worked out well!
