When I tried to make the appt last month, I ws told I was not a patient there and would have to get my pcp to request the appt with ortho. Then wait for another to accept and call to schedule but in truth I was already an established patient, as I told that first person. Which caused a delay in getting my appt.

I feel extremely confident that I am in the best and most capable hands I could be for my upcoming knee surgery.

Oscar Falconer answered all my questions and gave me my my options for my care. On the other hand, the medical assistant looked frazzled on the intake and on the discharged from the appointment.

It isn't pleasant waiting 3 months to get a shot in the knee There is a lot of pain walking around 3 months for a 10 minute shot that I had X-rays for and paid for then 3 months later having it all over.......

The only complaint is that I had to wait 45 minutes. My appointment was at 10:15 and I was not seen until 11:00

I called in advance to verify the clinic was open before driving in from another town. They confirmed the hours and said I could go in, when I got there I was turned away because they said it was too busy. Extremely frustrating to have poor communication across departments and poorly managed patient expectations

My knee surgery went very well. I'm very happy with the care that I received from his staff and the hospital staff and the nurses. My room was impeccable with a view!

I was pretty emotional the day I saw Dr. Falconer. I appreciated his gentleness and patience while I took moments to compose myself. I especially appreciated that he seemed to know my history enough that I didn't need to rehash my story for the Millionth time, and for me That was pretty important. The MA was also kind and respectfully asked if I was okay when she saw I had been upset. Everyone in front of the office was polite regardless if I was going to the lab, urgent care, or orthopedics.

I requested Oscar Falconer because of the way he treated me when I had my hip replacement in the past.

The appointment went very well, but it just took a long, long time to actually get an appointment.

The nurse and receptionist were great! The PA did not explain what do if not better and I am still not better. He proscribed a 7 day antibiotic rather than a 5 day and I had already been suffering for 8 days when I went in. I also had to ask for a Dr note to be excused from work to heal for 2 days but he only gave me one day and seemed put out about it. PA could have been more thorough.

I think it's a shame when you have to wait months for an appointment when you're suffering. But Oscar gave me a cortisone shot in my knee, and I've had the pain in my knee for quite a while, and it's really working well. So I was very pleased about that, although I did not see Oscar long enough to really have too much of a chat with him. It was the first time I had met the doctor. I mean, I seem to be doing pretty well with my knee right now with the cortisone, and he said if I need any more, I can get three in a year, and all I have to do is go up and say that I would like a cortisone shot. I hope that's true. But the facility itself is fine. It's just that everything is so slow. When you call, you have to wait hours almost for them to get to you on the telephone. And when you finally get them on the phone, they're just so pleasant, but it's just the waiting that's annoying.

Oscar was kind, explained everything, let me talk, listened, explained options. Will see him in a month and feeling better already. His excellent.

Waste of money to get XRays on knee when it's useless. Knew I needed an MRI and did nothing about the pain I went in for. Very frustrating went through the same thing with my shoulders and if it's not surgery they can't help you. Feel I'm wasting my time and money with the Orthopedic division of Maine General

It took quite a while to get an appointment but when I got to the appointment they were very fast and efficient

The nurse was great and thorough. The doctor listened. He was understanding, but he handed me a packet and really didn't give a lot of information or go over instructions prior to my leaving. I've had previous positive visits, so I would recommend express care to other people.

Reception was very nice, as was the gal who took my vitals, and the doctor provided insight as to the two issues I had. I am way better now, back to normal. Thank you!

It just takes way too long to get an appointment. I will say everyone from start to finish was very pleasant.

It's so much easier to go here. Gardner, family medicine./express care is so convenient for me and there's very seldom much of a wait time. The girls at the front desk are awesome. Very friendly. Very knowledgeable x-ray ladies lab. Ladies are great. I'm very grateful this place is here. Much easier for me to get there instead of Augusta.

Doctor was amazing

Check-in is always helpful, knowledgeable and very pleasant each and every time I check in at the office. Oscar was on top of my surgical information. Maine General has been the best! My new knee is spectacular and it quick order since my surgery. So pleased that I found this team!

I was told that I could do my pre surgery ekg at the Gardiner facility but they do not. When I called the office after my visit to clarify how to get it at the hospital, it took awhile for someone to get back to me.
