Yes, I'd like to state the fact that Dr. Rachel Thomas is, in my opinion, extremely helpful. She's extremely caring in the same aspect. You know, she takes the time to ask the important questions. You can tell by the questions that she asks, the little questions as well, that she actually does really care. For what we go to these doctors for, that's important to me. Also, they treat people like people.

Dr. Thomas is very thorough and listens to what you have to say!

When someone says no to a vaccine, it should not be brought up several times during the appointment and readdressed. For most people, no means no.

Would like to see more doctors not PA/NP's. Would like to be able to spend enough time with my provider and not feel rushed.

Had to wait an entire year for my first appointment as a new patient! That is simply unacceptable, but not entirely within your control to resolve, but it's still a bad situation for new patients.

I was pleased at how quickly I was seen and how quickly I was referred to a specialist and an appointment put in place.

I a new patient to your practice, and can not say enough positive things about the team. All of you. I had been a patient at Family Medicine Institute for over 25 years, and simply accepted that was the way healthcare was nowadays, until I'd just run out of all patience with the poor treatment. [I know it's a teaching practice, but come ON!] At Augusta Family, it's not just that the docs, nurses, PA's are so kind and respectful of their patients, but the receptionists are welcoming, the on-call service has someone get back to you within an hour or less (I didn't think this was even something that happened, ANYWHERE), scheduling is made easy, the waiting room is clean, the waiting time is short. The more complex appointments I've needed referrals for have been set up by AFP within 1-2 months as opposed to the 9-12 months which were what an FMI patient can expect, and then an appointment could be canceled at the last second with no explanation. I have recommended the practice to my entire family, and feel far less concerned about my long-term health as I'm in such capable hands. Thank you!!!!

I am a new patient - getting a first appointment was lengthy

My only disappointment is that my physician advised that the staff at the exit would schedule my follow-up appointments for me when I left. When I asked, the staff told me that my physician had not entered the orders into the system, so she could not help me. She told me that she would phone me once the orders were in the system. This has not happened and it has been two days. So I will need to contact the office to try again to schedule my follow/up. This is not acceptable.

I just wanted to say the doctor went above and beyond for me just to make sure all my needs are met, answered any questions that I had, and also taught me a few things. So that's always nice too. So I look forward to continuing to do my appointments with Dr. Thomas and thank you guys for the great service.

First visit. They were great. I waited 6 months to get it because they take great care of my daughter.

I have never had a better Dr and office ever in my life. I have never felt more understood, listened to or even been made more aware of everything. They all are absolutely the best, and I would personally be lost without them. I can not thank them enough for going above and beyond for me. I am eternally grateful.

My first appointment could not have been better. I have anxiety and never have felt better at any type of medical or mental health appointment. I am looking forward to my treatment. All of the staff that I had interaction with, were all professional, kind and I could tell they enjoyed their work. Very knowledgeable and helpful. Dr. Thomas was very helpful and was easy to talk to. I have battled addiction and mental health issues for years and I feel comfortable, this is where I need to and want to be right here. Entire staff answered all my questions and I felt they were concerned about all the issues I spoke to them about. Also were extremely friendly and easy to talk to.

Too many changes and drs who do not read up about our medical history and we aren't given adequate time to explain our long medical history and problems
