Rochelle Murphy, FNP

I had a really great experience with the NP I saw for this visit I would highly recommend her for care. I felt she listened to my concerns and was able to assist me with my health concerns. Since my visit yesterday my concerns from yesterday have at least felt improved and functional. I will say I had come in earlier in the year for a similar concern and had a not great experience with a different practitioner and would not recommend that practitioner due to the lack of help I felt from that experience so I was relieved this NP really listened and helped me with my concerns.

My visit was very positive. Rochelle is great and takes time to explain and listen and her assistant was awesome, too.

I hope you never have to close the Winthrop-Maine General site! The staff, from front desk to exam room to Dr are awesome, friendly and helpful.

Hi. I have to say that I miss the lab being in Winthrop, also the imaging and all of that, and urgent care as well, or express care, I'm not quite sure what it's called. But especially the lab. I had to go into Augusta and where we live, it's a bit of a haul. So I hope that I can come back to the Winthrop facility. Thank you.

I feel my provider cares about me!

Wish the lab and the imaging had not been removed from the facility. Having that lab and imaging provides one-stop shopping in order to have blood work done and mammograms, etc.

I was disappointed to learn that the lab & mammography clinic in Winthrop were closed. Our family has been receiving care for many years there and one of the biggest reasons was for the convenience of location.

Having services in the town I live is very helpful. It is too bad lab and radiology services are no longer here. This is especially difficult for older folks who need assistance driving farther for health care services.

I work for the American Lung Association- it troubled me that this PA said that 'initially people were given information that scared them about COVID-19" - she recommended that I not need the new COVID-19 vaccine that is coming out in the fall- and- she said Paxlovid was no longer needed- that flies in the face of what I know from the World Health Organization and the CDC for new strains and people at higher risk (which I am).

I am always very pleased with the care and customer service provided. The check in clerk was not very friendly at this last visit. But this is the only time I have had anyone not friendly like this clerk was? Rochelle Murphy is the absolute BEST!!! THANK YOU

I started seeing Chelle Murphy during COVID, during the hardest time in our history, and she continues over the years to impress me. She is on it. She is knowledgeable. She is helpful. She's never scared to dig a little bit to find an answer that she may not know right off the top of her head. I would refer her to any of my friends and family. She's absolutely wonderful and an asset to you guys as a whole.

Always a very respectful and informative visit

Winthrop Family Medicine is always professional, especially over the last three years. It seems to have exceeded far beyond what it had been at one point in the past. The office staff is very caring and there for you as soon as you walk in the door and the nurses and doctors are all very caring.

I give Winthrop family medicine and the providers there, an A++. They are caring, thorough and efficient.

I love the team in Winthrop, but I find Maine General is starting to nickel and dime. I go for a yearly physical, but if I discuss anything outside of the standard yearly physical, I'm getting extra charges. I find this ridiculous if I cannot speak to my doctor about what's wrong without getting charged.
