I was shocked at how fast I was able to get an appointment. My PCP told me MaineHealth hospitals were booking 6 plus months out. He suggested I try Maine General. I am so glad I did. Everyone was friendly and helpful.

Yes, I would like to commend Dr. Hoke, H-O-K-E, for his explanation and showing me my x-rays and my MRI, all the things wrong with my leg. Because up until he showed me all that and explained it in detail as to what's really going on with my leg, I had a lot of concerns and I didn't know what to think or whatever. Anyway, he was more than kind, took all the time and patience to explain everything to me so that by the time I did walk out, I was clearly aware of my situation and what steps I need to take next. Thank you very much. Bye.

Had originally called for orthopedics but was told I had to see GP first. Very thankful that Dr Hoke also practices orthopedics and was able to give me cortisol shot I needed after referral from 1st GP. Medical staff is great.

I will miss Dr. Hoke. He was a wonderful, thoughtful and caring physician. When a condition was identified that was serious, he immediately dealt with it and me while he was on vacation. One doesn't find a much better dedicated physician than Dr. Hoke! I wish him all the best in the next phase of his career and will miss him!

Have had terrible knee pain for months. The following day, after a cortisone injection, pain has disappeared. Hope it lasts.

The only difficulty was getting the VA to authorize my visit. It took 2 months for them to approve my visit. That's no reflection on MGH...just what happened. I was thoroughly impressed with the speed and friendliness of the receptionist, X-ray tech and medical assistant. Doctor Hoke was professional and friendly as well. Thank you.

I had a wonderful experience seeing Thomas Hoke. The reception was very prompt. He greeted me politely and I got right in quickly and the doctor was very knowledgeable and I had a great experience. Thank you very much.

I was greeted by a patient service representative who was wonderful and very pleasant. Shortly after I checked in, I was called in for my appointment. My doctor, Dr. Thomas Hoke is wonderful and was attentive to my needs.

The check-out experience is always lengthy and inefficient. It seems like there's no syncing of data between the information the office has and what's available on Follow My Health.

My notice in my appointment letter did not state the purpose as I was expecting a notice for two others that were discussed at my health check up. I expect this was an oversight on my part as one of my future appointments will be a memory test. Doctor Hoke straighten me out , Thanks.

Dr Hoke always takes the time with me that I need to know what I should be doing. He's the best and he cares.

I really liked an opportunity to experiment a different approach to my usual protocol. It was as discussed clearly and decision was mine, but I asked and received complete guidance from both physicians.

This visit was quick and easy. It started with Megan the MA. She is always kind, smiling, and helpful. Dr. Hoke is an amazing provider. He takes his time with me, heard concerns about my health from both my wife and I, and came up with a wonderful care plan that accommodated my needs. He has been my primary care doc for 5 or 6 years now, I always say to my wife as we are leaving what a great doctor he is. Thank you for the kind and thoughtful care that gets me to my best health.
