CAOHC-Approved Initial Certified Occupational Hearing Conservationist (OHC) Certification Course & Recertification Course

The MaineGeneral Workplace Health courses (3-day new certification course and 1-day recertification course) are designed to meet the requirements of the Council for Accreditation in Occupational Hearing Conservation (CAOHC)-approved, 20-hour certification course.

Masking is required for course participants and staff.

Course Success

Workplace Health's onsite, in-person classes yield a near-perfect success rate. To date, 95 percent of participants have passed the CAOHC certification or re-certification exam on the first attempt, with a 100 percent passage rate by the second attempt.

Personalized tutoring and guided self-review are offered if a second attempt on an exam is needed.
