Physical Therapy

If you have hurt yourself and need physical therapy, you want to recover. We'll show you how.

MaineGeneral Medical Center's Department of Physical Therapy has a large team that is highly trained in advanced physical therapy techniques. They evaluate each patient and create a specific rehabilitation plan for that person.

We serve children at our Edmund N. Ervin Pediatric Center.

Treatments differ by condition and can include exercise, manual therapy, stretching, use of exercise equipment and home exercises.

We make sure you understand issues that impact your condition.

MaineGeneral's physical therapists pride themselves on being a resource for you and your family. Ask all the questions you want — we're glad to answer them!

The more comfortable you are with your rehabilitation, the better the results.

Our goal is to help you reach your goals and return to the level of activity that is normal for you.
